About us
Nour Al-Amal is a youth-led nonprofit
initiative founded in 2024 by a group of high school students in
Irving, Texas. Created in response to the growing needs of
underserved communities around them, the project was built on a
simple belief: that youth have the power to lead change with
compassion, energy, and purpose.
We operate as a
fiscally sponsored project under the Alhamra Foundation, which provides the legal and organizational infrastructure that
allows our all-volunteer team to focus fully on community impact.
Through weekend service programs, food distributions, tutoring
support, and neighborhood clean-ups, our volunteers—most of them
students—are creating real change, one effort at a time.
Nour
Al-Amal exists to empower youth, serve our neighbors, and spark
hope where it’s needed most. Together, we’re building something
greater—grounded in service, driven by faith, and led by the next
generation.
Testimonials
"Before dedicating my weekends to teaching kids the
Quran, I never realized the importance of spreading knowledge
and guiding others to success. After two months of helping
kids read the word of Allah, not only do the kids improve and
feel good, but it also brings joy to my heart, knowing that we
are all rewarded for reading the kalam of Allah."
